Wisła Czarne - Kaskady Rodła, Waterfall complex in Silesian Beskids, Poland
Wisła Czarne - Kaskady Rodła is a series of cascades along Biała Wisełka stream in the Silesian Beskids mountains. The waterfalls flow through a forested valley where visitors walk on a gentle paved path passing multiple drops of varying sizes.
The cascades received their official name in 1987, marking recognition of the area as a natural feature worth preserving. Since then, the site has developed into a popular walking destination.
The Biała Wisełka Valley serves as a nature education trail, featuring information panels about local wildlife and the regional forest heritage of Silesian Beskids.
An asphalt path with gentle slopes makes the walk accessible to most visitors, including those with strollers or limited mobility. Rest areas with benches are placed along the route for breaks.
The streambed maintains a constant slope of about eight to ten percent as it cuts through Carpathian rock layers. This steep gradient creates the force that shaped the cascades and continues to carve them deeper.
