Barania Góra, Mountain summit in Silesian Beskids, Poland
The Barania Góra summit reaches 1220 meters in elevation and stands as the second highest peak in the Silesian Beskids mountain range.
The mountain's western slopes contain the springs of Biała and Czarna Wisełka, which merge to form the Vistula River, Poland's primary waterway.
The mountain trails connect multiple points of interest, including the Museum of Mountain Tourism located at the Przysłop clearing at 900 meters elevation.
Several marked hiking paths lead to the summit, where visitors can access an observation tower providing views of the surrounding Beskid mountains.
The 386-hectare nature reserve encompasses the mountain's peak area and protects the vital source waters of the Vistula River system.
