Church of Saint Adalbert in Szczawnica

Church of Saint Adalbert is a Catholic house of worship in Szczawnica built in the neo-Gothic style from local stone and brick between the 1880s and 1890s. The interior features a spacious main nave with high windows and a three-sided choir area.

The parish was first mentioned in written records around the mid-14th century, though the current stone building dates to the 1880s-1890s under the leadership of Father Jan Oleksik. This later construction shows how the growing town invested in a larger house of worship.

The walls inside show painted religious scenes created in the 1920s, while the wooden benches and decorations around the altar follow the neo-Gothic style popular when the building was finished.
