Kościół św. Marcina w Grywałdzie

The wooden church features three distinct sections: a log-built presbytery, a central nave, and a post-construction tower covered with shingle roofing throughout its structure.

The St. Martin Church was constructed in the second half of the 15th century, replacing an earlier religious building that existed around 1350 at the same location.

The main altar contains a late Gothic triptych from 1500-1510 depicting St. Martin dividing his cloak with a beggar, representing Christian charity and compassion.

The church opens Thursday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM during summer months.

Interior walls display deteriorated polychrome paintings featuring figurative and ornamental motifs, including scenes from the Passion of Christ.
