Malinka

Malinka is a residential quarter on the southern slopes of Wisła, featuring winding streets lined with traditional wooden houses and newer apartment buildings. The neighborhood offers mountain views and sits within easy reach of both ski infrastructure and hiking routes.

Malinka developed in the early 1900s as Wisła expanded outward from its original settlement into the surrounding mountain valleys. The quarter grew to become a major residential extension of the town.

The Malinka community center hosts regular concerts, religious gatherings, and social events that bring local residents together throughout the year.

Visitors can access ski lifts and hiking trails directly from the residential area without needing to travel to another part of town. Regular bus service connects the quarter to Wisła's town center.

Some houses in the area blend contemporary apartment design with traditional mountain cottage elements, creating an unusual mix of architectural styles. This combination gives the quarter a distinct character that sets it apart from typical residential zones.
