Obroki, Residential district in northwestern Katowice, Poland
Obroki extends along its namesake street in the Witosa District, featuring a combination of residential buildings and commercial establishments near Witosa Street.
The settlement originated in the 17th century as part of Załęże, later developing around the Cleophas mine which operated from the mid-19th century until 2004.
The XV High School building at Obroki 87 contains a memorial room dedicated to Captain Witold Pilecki and plaques commemorating World War II resistance fighters.
The district connects to other parts of Katowice through multiple bus lines and contains the OBROKI Wholesale Market, serving as a commercial center.
Early 20th-century residential buildings, including three traditional miners' houses called familoki, stand as examples of industrial-era architecture in the area.
