The park, designed by Wladyslaw Niemiec, emerged between 1951 and 1957 through community effort on former wetlands near the city center.
The park hosts segments of the Carnaval Sztukmistrzow festival, bringing together performers and artists from numerous European countries.
The renovated park includes accessible paths for pedestrians, cyclists, and wheelchair users, along with fitness areas and playgrounds.
A special kayak dock with rest areas connects to the Bystrzyca River, while a footbridge serves as both an entrance and observation deck.
