Park Zamkowy in Olsztyn

Park Zamkowy is a green space near the Warmian Chapter Castle and stretches along the Łyna River. It features multiple walking paths at different levels, two decorative fountains, and numerous deciduous trees that provide shade throughout the grounds.

The space developed around remnants of medieval city walls that are still visible today. A memorial stone honors Seweryn Pieniężny, an important figure in the city's past.

Several sculptures by regional artists can be found throughout the grounds, including the Symphony of Birds fountain and the Child on a Fish installation. These works shape how locals and visitors experience the space and reflect the artistic traditions of the city.

The space has recently renovated benches, bicycle racks, modern lighting, and dedicated cycling paths spread throughout. Visitors can easily walk trails of varying difficulty and take breaks at multiple spots.

Within the grounds sits a natural water threshold in the Łyna River that creates a small waterfall, which locals playfully call Niagara. This natural feature is easy to miss but offers an interesting spot to watch the flowing water.
