Łódzka Piwnica Artystyczna "Przechowalnia"

Łódzka Piwnica Artystyczna is a basement venue in the Katedralna district that hosts live entertainment. The space features performances that combine comedy, music, and theatrical elements across multiple evenings each week.

This cabaret was founded in 1995 as the second artistic basement venue of its kind in Poland. It came after the pioneering Piwnica pod Baranami, which had opened in Kraków years earlier.

The name refers to its original function as a storage space, and today it serves as a stage where local artists present their work. Visitors experience performances that blend comedy and music in an intimate setting.

The venue is located on ul. Sierpnia 5 and presents scheduled performances alongside special events throughout the year. Visitors can purchase recordings of shows to take home as souvenirs.

Between 1999 and 2001, a national radio television program recorded episodes at this location. The broadcast reached a wide audience across the country.
