Peterseim former factory in Kraków

The former Peterseim factory is a building complex with manufacturing spaces and administrative structures dating from the early 1900s. The construction shows typical features of industrial architecture from that era, with solid walls and large windows for natural light.

The factory was founded in 1860 and produced agricultural machinery until operations stopped in 1930. Before World War I, the facility employed about 200 workers.

The factory buildings show how Kraków functioned as an industrial center and what products were made here. You can see how workers operated the machinery and how the spaces were designed for their daily labor.

The factory is located on Stanisława Żółkiewskiego Street and is currently being transformed into modern commercial and recreational spaces. You can visit the site to see the historic structures from different angles and observe the ongoing transformation.

The complex was originally designed to include a brine graduation tower and flotation pool that would combine industrial work with wellness functions. These plans reveal how innovative the operators were at the time and what value they placed on worker recovery.
