Casa da Rua da Reboleira, 59, Medieval tower house in Ribeira, Portugal
The building features granite walls and battlements, maintaining its original structure from the late medieval period at number 59 Rua da Reboleira.
The construction agreement for this house was established in September 1688 between master stonemason Manuel Mendes and property owner Pedro Sem.
Since 1982, the building has become the headquarters of the Social and Cultural Association of São Nicolau, serving the local community.
The house offers elderly care services, a day center, social gathering spaces, and home support services for residents in the area.
The structure represents one of the few remaining examples of 14th and 15th-century civil architecture in Porto.
