Casa de Camilo Castelo Branco

Casa-Museu de Camilo Castelo Branco is a yellow residential building in Seide that preserves the personal objects, manuscripts, and letters of the Portuguese writer from the 19th century. The rooms remain in their original state, showing how the author lived within his private residence.

The building was constructed in 1830 and later became the home of a renowned Portuguese author. He spent there some of his most important years as a writer, from 1863 until his death in 1890.
