Mosteiro de Santa Marinha da Costa is a medieval monastery in Costa, Guimarães, Portugal, featuring cloisters lined with 18th-century tilework, a vaulted chancel, and surrounding gardens. The complex spreads across roughly 8 hectares of land with multiple structures and landscaped areas.

Queen Mafalda, wife of King Afonso Henriques, founded this monastery in 1154 and entrusted it to the Canons Regular of Saint Augustine. This royal founding established it as an important religious center in the region.

The church displays ornate neoclassical and baroque decorations featuring carved angels, mythological figures, and an elaborate organ. These artistic elements shape the interior's character and reflect the craftsmanship of past centuries.

The site now operates as Pousada de Guimarães offering 27 rooms, outdoor swimming pools, and a restaurant serving regional Minho specialties. Visitors can explore the spaces, stroll through the gardens, and experience different areas of the complex.

The site preserves archaeological remains from pre-Romanesque times visible within its walls, tracing back to a 9th-century temple. These older layers beneath the monastery reveal the long history of use at this location across the centuries.
