Espinho

Espinho is a municipality on Portugal's Atlantic coast, situated south of Porto and spanning roughly 21 square kilometers. The town spreads along the shoreline with a commercial center and residential areas that blend into coastal neighborhoods.

This municipality became independent from Santa Maria da Feira in 1899, establishing its own administration and local governance. Since then, it has grown from rural settlements into a coastal town shaped by commerce and maritime activity.
