Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani inaugurated Commercialbank Plaza on May 13, 2009, establishing it as the headquarters for Commercial Bank of Qatar.
The London-based LOM architecture firm integrated Middle Eastern architectural elements with modern design principles in the building's structure.
The building provides 120,000 square meters of office space, including fully equipped workspaces, virtual offices, and meeting rooms with advanced communication technology.
The structure incorporates a triple-skin glass system with sun-tracking blinds that regulate natural light throughout the building's interior spaces.
