Al Bidda Park, Urban park near Doha Bay, Qatar.
Al Bidda Park is a large green space along Corniche Street divided into three main sections: Al Bidda, Arumailah, and Wadi Al Sail. Each area features different layouts and recreational amenities designed for visitors of various ages.
The park began in the 1990s as Al Rumaila Park before undergoing major renovation work. It reopened in 2018 and has since become a central sports and recreation location in Doha.
The park includes a Cultural Village where visitors can see traditional crafts and local artistic practices displayed throughout the year. This section shows how heritage remains part of everyday life for people in the community.
The park can be accessed from multiple entrances and provides sports facilities including basketball courts, volleyball areas, and artificial football fields. Many of these facilities require advance booking, so checking ahead is worth planning ahead.
The park served as the main venue for Doha Expo in 2023 and 2024, featuring temporary gardens and performances that drew visitors worldwide. This event transformed the space into an international gathering place with special installations and displays.
