Merchants' House, Historic monument in Council Square, Brașov, Romania
The Merchants' House features Renaissance architectural elements with a prominent entrance adorned by stone carvings and decorated windows spanning three floors.
Built between 1539 and 1545 with 800 guldens donated by Apollonia Hirscher, this structure served as a central marketplace for local guilds.
The building preserves decorative elements from the 16th century, including the Hirscher family coat of arms displayed above the main entrance.
