Magna Curia, Renaissance palace in Deva, Romania.
The Magna Curia building features a combination of Renaissance and Baroque architectural elements with rectangular windows and ornate stone decorations across its facade.
Ferenc Geszty initiated the construction of this palace in 1582, which later underwent substantial modifications under Gabriel Bethlen's direction in 1621.
The Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilization within Magna Curia exhibits archaeological findings that document the development of ancient civilizations in the region.
Visitors can access the museum through the main entrance on Boulevard 1 Decembrie 1918, number 39, in the center of Deva city.
Archaeological excavations in 2012 revealed evidence of prehistoric Coțofeni culture beneath the palace, including pottery fragments and ancient tools.
