Timișoara Military Museum

Timișoara Military Museum is a military museum in Romania's largest city in the west that holds over 2000 objects from many centuries. The collection includes weapons, uniforms, maps, photographs, and written records arranged across multiple levels.

The building was created between 1744 and 1775 as a military gathering place and later became a keeper of the nation's past. Over the decades, its role changed, but it remained a place to remember what happened before.

The building has an unusual rounded corner on its northeast side that sets it apart from typical military structures. This feature comes from the Late Baroque style of when it was built and often goes unnoticed by visitors.
