The House of Eugene de Savoy stands at 24 Eugeniu de Savoya Street, featuring classical architecture with geometric decorations across its U-shaped structure.
Built in 1817 from the bricks of the demolished Forforosa Gate, the house marks the location where Prince Eugene entered Timișoara in October 1716.
The building's entrance displays a medallion depicting the former Forforosa Gate, with the original artwork preserved at the National Museum of Banat.
The structure covers 324 square meters and contains a symmetrical corridor leading to a staircase that connects to the upper floor.
Despite bearing Prince Eugene's name, the building was constructed 81 years after his death and served multiple purposes, including a commerce bureau and vegetable shops.
