Brück House, Art Nouveau residence in Union Square, Timișoara, Romania.
The four-story Brück House features a distinctive facade adorned with Hungarian folklore motifs, ceramic tiles, and enclosed balconies spanning multiple levels.
Built in 1910 by architects László Székely and Arnold Merbl, the building replaced an earlier Austrian Baroque structure that contained the Golden Cross Pharmacy.
The structure demonstrates the influence of Viennese architectural trends in Timișoara through its combination of Art Nouveau and Secession design elements.
The ground floor maintains its original function as a pharmacy, displaying nineteenth-century furniture and trilingual stained-glass windows above the entrance.
The building resembles a thin slice of cake, with squared corners that distinguish it from other Secession-style structures in the city.
