Еlementary school "Vuk Karadžić" Belgrade

The institution was originally founded in 1838 under a different name and renamed in 1931 to honor a major figure in Serbian language development. The main building with its distinctive design was constructed in the mid-1890s.

The school bears the name of a major Serbian language reformer, reflecting how local institutions honored influential cultural figures. This naming choice shaped how the community and students understood the building's role in Serbian educational history.
