Tašmajdan Stadium, Multi-purpose stadium in Palilula district, Belgrade, Serbia
Tašmajdan Stadium is a multi-purpose venue in the Palilula district featuring stone facades made from stone quarried on Brač island. The complex provides spaces for football matches, track and field events, and includes facilities for ice skating.
Construction began in the early 1950s as the city developed new sports facilities. The architect Mihajlo Janković received an important award from Belgrade for the design after the complex opened in 1954.
The venue served as a gathering place for the city's sports community across generations. Today, it continues to function as a meeting ground where people from different neighborhoods come together for athletic events.
The venue sits on Aberdareva Street and is accessible by several bus lines, including routes 2, 5A, 5, and 27N from the Palilulska pijaca stop. The location is straightforward to reach and the surrounding area offers parking options and clear pathways to the entrance.
A modern ice skating rink was added in 2016 following major renovation work. This transformation expanded the venue's use and created a year-round destination for different sporting activities.
