Most Obrenovac–Surčin, Road bridge between Obrenovac and Surčin, Serbia
The Obrenovac-Surčin bridge is a road crossing that spans two major rivers, the Kolubara and the Sava. It features dual carriageways for vehicles and pedestrian pathways along its length, built with a combination of steel and concrete structural elements.
Construction began in February 2017 as part of the A2 motorway development initiative for the country. The project represented a major infrastructure advancement, improving transportation connections across the region.
The bridge represents a milestone in Serbian infrastructure development, connecting communities across the Sava River and reducing travel times between regions.
Visitors can easily cross the bridge on foot or by car, with both routes clearly marked for navigation. The best time to visit is during daylight hours when visibility is good and traffic patterns are predictable.
The construction required 84,000 cubic meters of concrete and stands as the sole crossing point along a 70-kilometer stretch between Šabac and Ostružnica.
