Forteresse de Kupinik, Medieval fortress in Kupinovo, Serbia.
The fortress structure features a square layout of 57 meters on each side with circular towers positioned at the four corners of the building.
Built between the late 13th and early 14th centuries by Hungarian rulers, the fortress later transferred to Serbian despots who added hexagonal and octagonal towers.
The fortress complex includes the nearby Saint Luke Church, connected to the main structure by a bridge during the reign of Despot Đurađ Branković.
The fortress ruins stand near a Save River oxbow known as Obedska bara, with access through Branka Madžarevića street in Kupinovo.
Archaeological investigations revealed a defensive moat measuring 3 meters deep and 17 meters wide surrounding the entire perimeter of the fortress.
