Језеро Дубоки Поток, خزان مائي في صربيا
Jezero Duboki Potak is an artificial lake in Barajevo Municipality created when a dam was built across a local stream. The water body spans several hectares and is fed by smaller tributaries that flow from the surrounding area.
The lake was created in the late 20th century to protect the region from flooding and manage water flow in the local watershed. The dam structure allowed water from several streams to be collected and contained for flood prevention.
The lake serves as a gathering place where local families spend weekends and find calm away from the city. People use the simple shoreline and walking paths daily to connect with nature and enjoy quiet moments together.
The lake has a large parking area and is easily accessible by car from Barajevo. There is a pebble beach, a floating restaurant, fishing shelters, and walking paths around the shore for visitors to explore.
The main lake is preceded by two smaller filter lakes that help maintain water quality before it enters the main body. These smaller reservoirs are often overlooked by visitors but play an important role in keeping the water clean.
