Church of St. Dmitry in Kosovo Mitrovica

The Church of St. Dmitry features a central dome surrounded by six smaller domes, with a separate bell tower in the western section.

The construction of this church started in 2001 after Mitrovica's division, when Serbian residents needed a new place of worship in the northern part.

The church follows traditional Serbian Orthodox design principles, containing three entrance portals and decorated with religious paintings throughout its interior spaces.

Located on an elevated position, the church remains visible from multiple vantage points across the city and maintains regular religious services.

The structure contains specific architectural elements including three semicircular arches in the nave and an octagonal vestibule above the chapel sections.
