Gatchinsky District

Gatchinsky District is an administrative area in Leningrad Oblast located south of Saint Petersburg. The territory extends between two rivers and contains a mix of rural areas, smaller settlements, and industrial facilities.

The district was established in 1927 and was built on lands previously controlled by the Novgorod Republic and Sweden. It returned to Russian control during the Great Northern War.
