Krasnoarmeysk, Industrial center in Moscow Oblast, Russia
A city situated on the Vorya River, Krasnoarmeysk extends across 160 square kilometers of land at an elevation of 150 meters above sea level.
Starting as the village of Muromtsevo in 1834 with a textile factory, the settlement received town status in 1947 and adopted its current name Krasnoarmeysk.
The population of 26,000 residents maintains Russian traditions through regular celebrations, including the annual City Day festival every second Sunday of June.
The railway station connects to Moscow through the Yaroslavsky line, providing transportation services for residents and visitors from the capital city.
The surrounding natural environment includes the Fishing Club Litvinovo, which offers recreational activities on the local lake throughout the seasons.
