Vidnoye, Industrial town in Moscow Oblast, Russia
Located 23 kilometers from Moscow, Vidnoye occupies 10 square kilometers of land at an elevation of 160 meters above sea level.
The establishment of Vidnoye in 1949 centered around the Moscow Coke and Gas Works factory, which began construction in 1937 but halted during World War II.
