The North-Western Administrative Okrug extends over 93 square kilometers and contains eight residential districts including Kurkino, Mitino, and Strogino.
Established on July 10, 1991, this district evolved from former peasant settlements such as Spas, Tushino, and Strogino on Moscow's outskirts.
The Trinity Church in Khoroshyovo and the stone church of Vladimir Icon stand as religious monuments within the administrative boundaries.
The district provides extensive public transportation connections through metro stations and bus networks, serving a population of 942,223 residents.
