Mozdoksky District, Municipal district in North Ossetia-Alania, Russia
Mozdoksky District is a municipal area in northern North Ossetia-Alania covering roughly 1,080 square kilometers. It includes the district capital Mozdok and numerous rural settlements spread across the surrounding landscape.
The district was established in 1924 and went through several administrative changes during the Soviet period. Its current form took shape as the region reorganized during the creation of the autonomous republic.
The area is home to several ethnic groups who maintain their own traditions and ways of life. This diversity shapes daily life differently in urban and rural corners.
