Moskva Pool was a large open-air swimming facility located in the heart of Moscow that drew swimmers from across the city. The complex featured spacious sunbathing areas and served as a gathering place for locals during the warm season.
Built in the 1960s on the site of the demolished Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, the pool shaped the city's landscape for several decades. After the Cold War ended, the facility eventually closed and the original church was reconstructed on the location.
The Moskva Pool served as a prominent recreational facility during its time.
The site is not accessible to visitors today as the original structure was completely demolished. The location can only be viewed from outside or explored through historical photographs and documentation.
