Golytsin estate

The Golytsin estate is a classical mansion in Moscow's Khamovniki District with symmetrical wings and detailed stonework at its entrances. The building was designed by Matvey Kazakov and shows clear geometric proportions along with decorative details on its facades and gates.

The mansion was built during the 1700s when Russian noble architecture flourished and was owned by the Golitsyn family, one of Russia's oldest aristocratic lines. The building survived major historical changes and remains a notable example of its architect's residential work from that era.
