Vladykino, Moscow Metro station
Vladykino is a railway station on the northeast side of Moscow that opened in 2016 as part of the Moscow Central Circle. The station has two platforms about 590 feet (180 meters) long on each side of the tracks, covered passages to protect from weather, and a direct connection to the metro station through an enclosed corridor.
The station opened in 2016 as part of the Moscow Central Circle project, designed to connect distant districts more quickly. Within its first year, Vladykino became the second busiest station on the new ring, serving around 37,000 passengers daily.
The station has ticket gates, transfer points, and clear signage directing passengers to metro connections and bus routes. Multiple bus lines serve the area, and passengers can transfer between them within 90 minutes without paying an extra fare.
Although Vladykino is a relatively new station, it quickly became the second busiest on the entire Central Circle, showing how important this connection became for commuters and visitors. Its location near parks and forest areas makes it a preferred starting point for those wanting quick access to green spaces or other neighborhoods.
