Sacred Heart Church, Gothic Revival Catholic church in Samara, Russia.
The Sacred Heart Church features twin towers reaching 47 meters high, decorated with pinnacles and incorporating traditional Gothic architectural elements throughout its structure.
Built in 1906 following the design of Moscow architect Foma Bogdanovich, the church cost approximately 80,000 rubles and replaced an earlier wooden structure.
The church served the Polish Catholic community in Samara until the 1930s, when authorities closed it and transformed the building into a regional museum.
The church, located at 157 Frunze Street, hosts regular religious services, Bible study groups, and maintains a Catholic library for community members.
The altar of the church displays a reproduction of Salvador Dali's Christ of Saint John of the Cross painting within its neo-Gothic interior.
