Demir-Kapu

Demir-Kapu is a mountain peak in Crimea rising to 1540 meters above sea level with rocky slopes and steep terrain throughout. The summit sits in the Crimean Mountains near Yalta and features exposed rock formations that dominate the skyline of this ridge.

The mountain held strategic value for centuries due to its elevated position allowing surveillance of surrounding lands. This vantage point attracted the attention of various rulers and military forces throughout history.
