Gurzuf Park, Municipal park in Gurzuf, Ukraine.
Gurzuf Park is a roughly 12-hectare grounds with diverse plant species and multiple walking paths across landscaped terrain near the Black Sea coast. The site features shaded routes, open green spaces, and seating areas where visitors can explore the botanical collections.
The park was established in 1960 when the region was developing as a recreation destination for Soviet residents. It was built during a period of growing tourism and designed with contemporary landscaping to attract visitors.
Two original sculptures named Rachel and Night are displayed throughout the grounds, serving as key examples of landscape art from this region. These works shape the character of the place and give visitors something to discover while walking.
The grounds include numerous benches positioned along the pathways where visitors can sit and rest while exploring. It is best visited during daylight hours when tree shade provides relief and the plant life can be seen clearly.
The military sanatorium buildings within the grounds blend Oriental architectural elements with traditional Russian wooden features. This unusual mix shows how different cultural traditions influenced the construction style during the period when the park was developed.
