Massandra park

Massandra Park is a protected landscape park in Massandra that covers several hectares of hillside terrain crossed by walking paths. The grounds blend open grass areas with thick tree cover and combine designed garden sections with natural woodland.

The park began in the early 1800s as part of a noble estate before receiving protected status in the 20th century. The shift to formal protection came to preserve the historical landscape for future generations.

The park functions as an outdoor venue for regional events while preserving botanical specimens and historical monuments within its boundaries.

The park is easy to reach from nearby residential areas and is best explored on foot. Wear sturdy shoes since the paths cross slopes and woodland.
