Great Zlatoust Church, Orthodox church in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

The Great Zlatoust Church is an Orthodox church building in Yekaterinburg with a bell tower that rises approximately 77 meters high. The structure displays Russian Revival architecture combined with Byzantine influences and is constructed entirely of brick.

Construction took place between 1847 and 1876, and the building shaped the city's skyline for over a century. It was demolished in the 1930s during the Soviet era, but was reconstructed in the early 2000s using historical photographs as guides.

The church is named after St. John Chrysostom, a figure deeply honored in Orthodox Christian tradition. This naming reflects the spiritual importance that worshippers place on this saint within their faith.

The location is in central Yekaterinburg and is easy to reach, with regular services that welcome visitors. It is helpful to check visiting hours beforehand and follow standard behavior guidelines when inside a place of worship.

Before its destruction, the bell tower was the tallest structure in the entire Ural region and defined the city skyline for generations. This remarkable height meant that the church bells could be heard across the entire city.
