Sumgan-Kutuk

Sumgan-Kutuk is an extensive cave system in Bashkortostan that stretches through approximately 10 kilometers of limestone passages. The system contains many underground chambers and intricate rock formations embedded within the Ural hills.

The cave system gained official protection in 1986 when it became part of Bashkiriya National Park. This designation marked the beginning of formal conservation efforts for this natural formation.
