The Marshal Zhukov Square is a memorial plaza with green spaces, walking paths, and monuments throughout Sterlitamak. Cedar pines planted in 2018 provide shade across the grounds.
The plaza was inaugurated in 2005 and features a memorial wall listing residents who died in the Second World War. It was later expanded with a large border guard monument in 2016.
The square is named after a Soviet military leader and displays busts of war heroes from the region. A pathway with names of workers honored for their achievements invites visitors to walk and reflect.
The plaza is situated between several streets and provides benches and information stands for visitors. The grounds are open year-round with clear pathways for walking at any time.
The plaza houses one of the largest border guard monuments in the region, created by a renowned sculptor. The monument stands notably tall compared to similar structures elsewhere.
