The Lefortovo Student Campus contains eight brick buildings with communal corridors, kitchens, and facilities distributed across multiple floors for student accommodation.
The campus complex, designed by architects Boris Blokhin, Boris Gladkov, and Alexei Zaltsman, was constructed between 1929 and 1930 as Moscow's largest student housing.
The House of Culture, established in 1954, functions as a student center with concert venues and creative development sections for various artistic activities.
The campus provides residential facilities for 3,000 students, featuring rest areas, sports halls, dance rooms, laundry facilities, workshops, and cafes throughout its buildings.
Students once exercised and swam in a rooftop pool, captured in photographs by avant-garde photographer Alexander Rodchenko in the early twentieth century.
