The Ural Geological Museum contains more than 500 mineral specimens, rocks, and fossils collected from the extensive Ural Mountains region.
The museum was founded as an integral part of the Ural State Mining University to document and study the mineral resources of the region.

Located at Kuybysheva Street 39, the museum welcomes visitors from Wednesday to Sunday between 11:00 and 17:30 with guided tours available.
The collection includes meteorites that fell in the Ural Mountains, providing scientific evidence about the composition of celestial bodies.
