Saints Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and Sophia Church at FRC-PHOI

Saints Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and Sophia Church is an Eastern Orthodox church in northern Moscow displaying Russian Revival features. The building stands within the Miussky cemetery grounds and combines traditional Orthodox architectural elements with ornamental details.

The building started as a wooden structure in 1773 and was later rebuilt in stone. A major renovation in 1912 shaped its current appearance.

The church is named after three young sisters martyred in 2nd century Rome and their mother, embodying the Christian virtues of faith, hope, and love. These four names shape the place's identity and connect it to an enduring Christian tradition.

The building is roughly one kilometer from Savyolovskaya metro station and reachable on foot. Its location within the cemetery grounds means visitors should check access times beforehand.

The church operates today as part of a pediatric research center, blending religious function with medical facilities. This is a rare example of a traditional religious place operating within a modern scientific complex.
