Burj Rafal, Mixed-use skyscraper in As Sahafah District, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Burj Rafal is a mixed-use tower with 70 floors above ground and 2 underground levels in an As Sahafah District location in Riyadh. The structure contains 350 residential units, hotel rooms, office spaces, and shops distributed across multiple levels.
The design firm P&T Architects & Engineers conceived the tower, with construction beginning in 2011 and the opening ceremony in June 2013. Full completion of the project followed early in 2014.
The building houses residences, offices, and a hotel in one structure, showing how Riyadh is growing as a modern city. Visitors see how different uses coexist within a single tower.
The building is easy to navigate when entering through the main entrances and using the elevator system distributed throughout. Lower levels house shops and hotel facilities, while upper floors contain offices and residential apartments.
The tower features a glass facade that incorporates advanced lighting systems and specialized acoustic solutions throughout its spaces. These technical features showcase construction methods that were sophisticated for the time of its completion.
