KSU Stadium

KSU Stadium is a football arena in northern Riyadh with seating for 26,100 spectators across several covered tiers. The playing surface is natural grass, surrounded by modern grandstands that offer clear views of the action.

Construction of the stadium began in 2011 and concluded in 2015, with architects Michael KC Cheah and Steph designing the project. The building cost reached 215 million riyals for the facility in the northern part of the city.

The venue carries the name Al-Awwal Park following a partnership with Saudi Awwal Bank, reflecting a new approach to funding such facilities. Visitors on match days experience the energy of local fans filling the stands and chanting throughout the game.

The facility offers multiple entry gates and large parking areas, making it easy for visitors to arrive by car. Road connections to central Riyadh allow straightforward access by car or taxi.

The outer walls of the arena change color during the day depending on sunlight, shifting from soil-brown tones to golden hues. This color transformation gives the building a changing appearance that looks different at various times of day.
