Münchenbryggeriet, Event venue in Södermalm, Stockholm, Sweden
The Münchenbryggeriet contains 23 different conference and event rooms spread across multiple levels, accommodating gatherings of up to 2,499 people.
Founded in 1894, this former Munich-style brewery operated as Sweden's largest beer production facility until 1971, when operations moved to Bromma.
Community activism in 1974 prevented the demolition of this industrial structure, with support from public figures including author Astrid Lindgren.
The main entrance at Torkel Knutssonsgatan 2 leads to six distinct access points, each serving specific areas within the complex.
Workers at the original brewery received regular drinks during their shifts, including a special allowance if they fell into the icy waters during ice harvesting.
