Skinnarviksparken, Urban park in Södermalm, Sweden
Skinnarviksparken spans across a hill south of Söder Mälarstrand, featuring grass areas, rocky surfaces, and numerous tree species overlooking Riddarfjärden waters.
The park location was originally used by tanners in the 18th century who needed to conduct their work away from Stockholm's central districts.
The eastern section maintains wild natural terrain while the western part offers maintained grass areas, representing Stockholm's balance of nature and urban planning.
Visitors can access multiple viewpoints at 53 meters above sea level, making it an excellent location for photography and observing Stockholm's waterfront.
The children's playground, renovated in 2018, incorporates a hot air balloon theme, adding an imaginative element to the recreational facilities.
