Vannaröd Castle, Tudor-style castle in Hässleholm Municipality, Sweden
The gray stone castle features steeply pitched gable roofs with decorative half-timbering elements throughout its exterior architectural design.
The castle was built in 1890 by Gustaf Christian Edvard Barnekow, who created it as a replica of his wife's ancestral residence in Scotland.
The building represents the strong influence of British architectural styles on Swedish manor houses during the late nineteenth century construction period.
The main section of the castle now functions as a restaurant, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the interior of this historical structure.
The Sösdalaortens Bygdegårdsföreningen, a local community association, has maintained ownership of the castle since 1953, ensuring its preservation.
